There’s no doubt about it – this year’s been a tricky one!
As we sang and danced our way into the New Year, nobody could have predicted that our lives would have been turned upside down by a global pandemic, and that we would have to completely revise our operations to keep our business running and make sure everybody stays safe.
The COVID-19 outbreak was a shock to everyone, but, like thousands of other businesses up and down the country, we managed to navigate the changing regulations and emerge from the crisis stronger.
Business as usual – ish!
Since the very start of the pandemic, we have been listening closely to the official advice from the government and making sure that we incorporate all the latest guidance into our work.
A lot of what we do takes place outside – and in many cases we have been able to continue delivering our wide range of drainage services without interruption. But we don’t believe in being complacent, especially when the health of our workers and our customers is at risk.
Here are the steps we have taken so far to make sure our working environments are COVID-safe:
- We have briefed all our staff on the importance of following social distancing procedures, and reminded them to follow the one metre plus rule wherever possible when interacting with customers and each other
- We have provided all staff with suitable PPE to use in situations where social distancing cannot take place
- We have made sure hand sanitiser is readily available to all our drainage consultants and office-based staff
If you have any questions regarding our COVID-safe policy or would like to speak to a member of our team about the measures we have put in place, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
